Capcom has released the action-horror game Resident Evil Village for the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and iPads with M1 chips or higher.
Players can try the game for free, but it’s limited to the prologue. This allows gamers to assess whether it’s worth paying for the full version of the game. The game doesn’t follow the principle of universal purchase, where buying it for one platform allows you to play on all devices.
Datura Plays channel previously released a video showcasing Resident Evil Village on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. As expected, in the final version, players have the option to adjust graphic settings. You can even change the resolution to either 2340 x 1080 or 2796 x 1290 pixels.
At a lower resolution, the game can achieve 60 frames per second. Moreover, the game’s graphics are quite impressive, especially considering the smartphone’s relatively small screen.
However, some players and journalists are reporting that playing Resident Evil Village on an iPhone is not very convenient without an external controller. The control elements are too large.
