Spotify announced on Monday a partnership with Facebook, which will allow you to listen to songs, podcasts, and content from the platform without having to leave the popular social network.

The Swedish company announced that this alternative will be available through a mini-player experience on Facebook, where users will be allowed to share their musical experience with their contacts through Spotify.

To activate the function, the person must go to the Spotify platform, select the song they want to listen to, and in the menu, in the ‘Share’ section, then select ‘Facebook’ and finally ‘Facebook News Feed’.

“Like posts and status updates on Facebook, you can add a personal message to add some sparkle,” the streaming platform said in a statement.

Users will be able to reproduce the content in the publication and will have a mini-player alternative, with options to play, pause and discard.

In addition, the option allows users to listen to songs from the Spotify application while browsing Facebook, even when the phone screen is off.

The alternative is enabled from this Monday in several countries, including Colombia. In the coming months, it will be available for other markets.
